I need help trying to buy a solid 12" car subwoofer. Any advise?
I've recently started looking into upgrading to better subs in my car. I have a pair of sony's. Very very disapointing; a complete waste of money. I've been looking at 4 subs that really caught my eye. they are: Hifonics Atlas12", Orion xtr pro 12", MTX Thunder 12", Memphis Mojo 12". I'm looking for something in those price ranges. I have an 1100 watt eclipse amp, completely dynomated trunk doors everything is covered. I'm looking for something with more spl than sound quality. I really want to feel what I have in the trunk. The box I am planning on using will probably be 2.0 ft internal volume ported for each sub. Don't know the hz or anything but I'm looking for great spl.
Also I wanted to say the my price range would be around 200$. I seen the mojo's on ebay for around that price. Not knowing they were much more expensive than the other brands. That's just a side note.
i had 2 mojos they where the best subs i ever owned i only sold them because they bumped too hard for my wifes taste but yeah get those they sound great with an crappy amp and amazing with a good amp
